A River Runs Through It and Other Stories, Twenty-fifth Anniversary Edit

要不是因为1992年的劳勃瑞福和毕彼特的电影太出名，这部1976年出版的小说也不会一再被重印，也不太可能有这个所谓25周年的版本。

在浦东洋人扎堆的地界，一个卖盗版书的地摊上发现了该书，号称“高仿”的影印本，封面也是这个色儿的，内文印的还算清楚，10块钱，凑乎看看吧。

里面有3故事，除了a river还有两个other stories:

Logging Pimping and Your Pal Jim 和

USFS 1919 The RangerThe Cook and the Hole in the Sky

A river runs throughs it 的第一句是

“In our family there was no clear line between religion and fly fishing.”

结尾是这样：

“Eventually all things merge into one and a river runs through it. The river was cut by the world’s great flood and runs over rocks from the basement of time. On some of the rocks are timeless raindrops. Under the rocks are the words and some of the words are theirs.

I am haunted by waters.”

这些话都用在电影里，看来电影的改编真是忠实于原著啊。
