Confessions of A Shopaholic is a stereotype of New York Time Bestsellers with fashion involved.(though the story is mainly happening in London Britain)

Brands unfamiliar the tones and plots are similar to works like Sex and The City and The Devil Wears Prada.

To admit the fact I enjoy reading such skin deep chick flicks with an airy ***e making troubles and causing dramas.

I cant't help laughing at Rebecca's self-imposed reasonings when she sees an apparently unnecessary garment. She can be easily overreacting just in a glance of the shop window. The four-letter word SALE will wipe all the sorrows and worries out of her mind. She continues to make purchases no matter how many severe letters are sent from the banksvisasetc. Making up a sad or unfortunate story is a piece of cake for Bexy and a broken leg or dying grandmother is always working for pushing back the deadline.

After all when she's too overdrawn that no cards are available to take care of her uncontrollable habit she simply packs up and moves in with her loving parents. This part drives me to hatred towards this heartless spending machine. She's too unthoughtful to those who love and care about herlike Suse Suse's cousinname forgottenher parents and those who wish could help like Serek Luke and so on. I feel an uneasiness when she hides all the bills under bed into wardrobe or eventually somewhere faraway. Her avoiding facing the music is like Holly Golighty in Breakfast At Tiffany's who gave no credit for worrying. But the magic of Rebecca is which you will find in every Sophie Kinsella's follow-up novels she can always fix things up and smooth the dramas which is ingenious and incredible.
