快乐王子集《快乐么？》

再次学不进去习，所以借王尔德的童话《快乐王子集》英汉对照版看。王尔德的文笔仍然很妙，原文看起来要享受一些，浪漫而且不乏幽默。笑也笑过了，伤也伤到了，感慨也颇多。巴金先生的译本我觉得不错了，有些词我都觉得挺妙。

这本童话小孩子看当然是可以的，《快乐王子》和《夜莺与玫瑰》我小时候读过，不过真的只是当看了个故事，再读的这一边才了解王尔德的意思。我想，在我十年后、二十年后、甚至老了以后再读几遍，还会有不同的感想。这大概也是巴金先生在读了那么多年后才敢翻译的原因。

这六个故事都讲了人物的改变，当然，他故事的“人物”不一定都是人的。他们都是要从经历的一些事上得到教训，体会到一些以前不曾有过的感受。这些改变或许是带来了希望，或许是绝望的，或许根本就走向毁灭了。

《快乐王子》、《少年国王》在我看来像是王尔德自己对整个社会的感受，我喜欢的不得了，也找到了安抚自己焦虑的只言片语。王子或者年轻的国王身上都带有贵族的浪漫也有对改变社会无能为力的伤感。不过这些善良干净的心让他们显得尤其高贵。有时候我在想，从某种程度上来说，这也是贵族气质不易临摹的原因。

《夜莺与玫瑰》是我很喜欢的故事，不仅是因为他说的是爱情。爱真的是存在的，只不过又偏执又自大的人们因为自己的虚妄而选择了嘲笑，污蔑，放弃。当然，如果爱真的那么易得，也就无意义了。如果人们一开始就否定她的存在，对自己来说，反而更好过一些，这样就不用为了得不到而抑郁伤感。自大的人啊……什么时候你才能低下你的头颅看看周围的世界，还有身边的那些人。

故事里那个对爱情理解肤浅的少年，在表白遭拒后感慨，“爱情史多么无聊的东西，它的用处比不上逻辑的一半。因为它什么都不能证明，它总是告诉人一些不会有的事，并且总是教人相信一些并不是实有的事。总之，它是完全不实际的，并且在我们这个时代，什么都得讲实际，我还是回到哲学上去，还是去研究形而上学罢。”

当时我就笑了。

《自私的巨人》、《忠实的朋友》、《了不起的火箭》都不同程度上讽刺了各种自私、自大的人。和他们相比，善良真的会变成愚蠢。孩子真的很好，他们真的很可爱。

She was one of those people who think that if you say the same thing over and over a great many times it becomes true in the end.
