The Sari Shop《a look at society》

I found it very different from other books about India. It give a glimpse of India from both the hopeful the hopeless and the disappointed as well as the rich people ignorant about the evils around them. Overall a great social commentary with a great plot line. This book reminded of Les Mes for some reason.
