Cures and Curiosities《Serendipity》

Got this book really by total randomness of life. And read it only because i have it and it looks odd and pretty with all these weird illustrations.

It started with the strange guy who had a thing for collection...so called objects related to medical history...which often ended up collection for everyday. Wandering around the world collecting things for him sounds a perfect job to me.

the book is meant to introduce scope of what the library holds. it leads to clues in history and anthropology with interesting anecdotes. As people were often able to find things in the library as serendipity i deem my reading this book an occurrence of serendipity as well.
