在路上《在/是一种状态》

C-在是个动词吗？好象不能算是，因为他之后通常跟上一个动词，我在上课，你在睡觉，他在吃饭。。。。。。所以他顶多是个表示状态的系动词，是英文里的be，德文里的sein可是有了这个“在”，那描绘的情形就全然不一样了，这不再是例行公事般的习惯，也不是一种祈使般的命令，而变成了一种鲜活的生活场景，那生命中此时此刻正在进行的体验，之前的很多次不可能和眼下的一样，之后的若干次也无法和眼下的无异，总之，我使用进行时态，总是带着舍不得的意味，就象不舍得冰激凌融化，不愿意彩虹消失，不敢想好梦到头。

在也是个有魔力的字，把冠冕堂皇的问句或不客气的质问变成亲切的攀谈。-你做什么？马上让人忧心忡忡地寻找一个合适的词来表述自己从事的行当，既不与实际太不靠谱，也能修饰得恰到好处，这是费心费力的差事。游手好闲者要说成自由职业者，流浪者要说成热衷四海为家，不入流的小作家要说成文字工作者。。。-你在做什么？那就给了好多的回旋余地，你既可以巧妙地说我不做什么，也尽可以随便加个动词打发掉，总之无关痛痒。

在也是个意味丰富的词，加上一个名词完全可以既简洁又有力得打开你想象力的大门：他在监狱，你完全可以想象出他曾经如何风光无限，又如何一着不慎，满盘皆输，再如何世态炎凉，锒铛入狱，又或者她在好来坞，你又可以想象出她曾经如何出身贫寒，颠沛流离，再如何无名小卒，跑跑龙套，又如何福运高招，一鸣惊人，总之”在“描述的尽管是当前，却不由得叫人浮想联翩，正如这本毁誉参半又备受关注的书一样，”在路上“留给人太多的遐想，那些可能发生而未发生的，那些不该发生而阴差阳错得发生了的，那些在梦境里被期待着将要发生的，那些好象为了验证某种宿命反复发生的，总之因为太多的可能性和不确定性，人们竟然开始憧憬。

其实跨掉的一代并没有跨掉，因为他们迷恋上了“在”的状态，他们在无所不能，无所不敢的体验中追逐另一岸的信仰。

E-Is Be a verb?perhaps not.It's often the case that it appears with another verb behind. Such as I'm attending class you're sleeping He's having a deal...In this sense be is a link verbjust like sein in German.However we have to admit that a sentence with be means sth entirely different as without it.It would be sth vivid rather than the boring daily routine or sth necessary.It's sth in the very moment can neither be the same with any happened in the past not sth unexpected in the future.Everytime when I use this present tense I cherish the present time sth like i dont want to see the ice-cream to melt awayi'm unwilling to see the rainbow to disappear or wake up from a fantastic dream.

Be is also a magic word it turns sth official or impolite into a friendly talk.-What do you do? by this question you might have to rack your brain to find an appropriate answerso as to make it being consistent with the truth and sounds elegant.Those idling away their youth call themselves freelancers thoes tramps named themselves as happy wanderers

Be is also a word that can polish your imagination with a norm.He is in the prison then you can imagine how powerful and hot he once was and how he was played by the destiny and unfortunely being thrown into the prison. She is in Hollywood then you can associate that how poor she once was and how luckily that she made a decision to be an actress and then all of a sudden being worldwide famous.In general Although"Be" only indicates sth that is just happening it's closely linked with the past as well as the future.It's even proved in the titel of this bookwhich got remixed reviews after its publicaton. "On the Road" leaves the reader a large room to imaginethose likely to happen yet finally didn't happen those should not happen yet finally surprisingly happened those expected to happen in your dreams and those happend repetitious to reinforce some fatalism. Just because the wealth of possibilities and the uncertainty the folks are full of hopes towards tomorrow.

The so-called Beat Generation is actually not collapsed.They are just fascinated with the "be" state of mind. They try to experience everything and throw caution to the winds in the pursuit of true belief on the spiritual side of their nature.
