World Without End《Not As Good As Expected》

I've been waiting for this one since I finished The Pillars of The Earth. So far I've covered more than half and found it not as good as expected but still a good read anyway.

Although the stories in World Without End happened 200 years after The Pillars of The Earth you still get a strong feeling of familarity thus less enjoyable as the original one. This is after all kind of a sequal so you can't expect too much. Another problem is that you can guess right a lot of things in the plot so the feeling of being "sucked in" is less.

As in The Pillars of The Earth in this one you can also learn a lot of the way people think live and work more than 600 years ago. In this sense I'd say it's more educational than enjoyable.
