Actually I just got to know this book minutes ago but I'm quite confident to say that it must be the very one if entropy and control are selected as key words. Not only because the author is a life fellow of IEEE but also he was mentor of Feiyue Wang and the author of the article Optimal control of global entropy for environmental systems which is the clue of how I acquaint with Prof. Saridis.

Wang wrote in the memoriam:

"Professor George Nicholas Saridis the visionary of intelligent control and the Founding President of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Council/Society passed away on Oct. 29 in his home in Athens Greece and received the Diploma in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in 1955 the MSEE and PhD degree from Purdue University West Lafayette Indiana in 1962 and 1965 respectively."

"Prof. Saridis had been an active member of the IEEE Control Systems Society Systems Man and Cybernetics Society and Robotics and Automation Society for over three decades..."

Remembering the journals I've seen in the university library and the interests and dreams I once owned at that time I'd like to remind myself those brilliant names: Maxwell,Lyapunov Nyquist Wiener Bellman Kalman Holland Zadeh。。。
