Jerome K.Jerome(1859-1927) was an English writer known for his genial humor. His best known work is no doubt Three Men in a boat"which was published to overnight success in 1889 when the author was 30.The book has since been translated into every European language and several Asian ones as well. The odour of cheese a hilarious narrative about the author's misadventure with smelly cheese is one of its funniest stories.
